It brings us great pleasure to know that more and more Aussies are becoming vegetarians and vegans in 2018.  The slow but steady rise has shown that the number of Australians whose diet is all or almost all vegetarian has risen from 9.7% to almost 11.2%, according to research conducted by Roy Morgan.

There are many reasons why people chose to go vegetarian or vegan but either way, ethical eating is the way to go.

We recently made this transformation from a meat-free diet to a healthy vegan/ vegetarian diet and started to collect vegetarian/vegan cookbooks and recipes. The cookbooks listed within are books that helped just make the transformation a lot easy to go from meat-lovers to an almost vegan diet.

As food lovers and foodies, this inspired us to put together our own cookbook series called The Almost Vegan Cookbook.

The Almost Vegan cookbook is a series of all the different recipes that we have either tried or found inspiration from other books like the ones listed above.

Our decision to become meat free and almost vegan has transformed our lives. It’s showed us how to eat well and ethically. This, in turn, has inspired us to share our journey of transformation through our love for food through a cookbook.
